A couple of time Thomas hit me hard enough to split my lip and make it bleed and I knocked his glasses off many times. One day Thomas sadi to me, “Ah Jing (my Chinese name), your Póuh Pàh Jéung 琶掌- Holding Pei Paa Palm, is very good.” So I guess it used it well. Whenever I did Chī Sáu I used good skill and was never afraid to fight back. I also liked it a lot. However, some brothers did not want to Chī Sáu with me, until much later, and this was after I realised that I should not use too much energy.
