Seven Pò 七魄
Fú Shǐ Pò 伏矢魄
Fú 伏 means hiding, someone has hidden themselves to avoid being attacked by others – this is Fú. Shǐ 矢 means arrow, arrows are for shooting the enemy. So, Fú Shǐ means hiding somewhere to shoot the enemy, but in this case it means, aware of danger and things that will harm us and this makes it the more important Pò. Shī Gǒu 屍狗 – Corpse Dog, notices when something is not right and Fú Shǐ is thinking of how to deal with it. It is like our intuition and our sub conscious, like hidden arrows that are protecting us. As Fú Shǐ is the most important Pò, if it has a problem, all the others will have a problem as well.
Qiǎo Yīn Pò 雀陰魄
Qiǎo 雀 is a small bird, usually we use it to describe a sparrow. Yīn 陰 is like in Yīn and Yáng陽. Qiǎo Yīn means, Sparrow Yīn, which means sparrow that is very sensitive, a sparrow that you cannot easily get close to and is almost impossible to catch by hand. Yīn, also refers to the Yīn part of the body and our sexual energy, or the sexual part of our energy. It is like a sparrow that is very sensitive that we should not easily open and overuse, otherwise we will lose our energy and spirit, so Qiǎo Yīn Pò needs to be strong to handle our Yin side of the emotion and sexual energy.
