After they had finished eating and drinking, Zhōng Lí Quán 鐘離權 started to explain Shén Xiān 神仙 – Immortal Level and Daoism 道 to Lǚ Yán 呂嚴 .

He said, “When human is coming to this world, it is based on two energies, the mother’s which is Yin and the father’s which is Yang. After about ten months of pregnancy, if there are no problems, then the baby will be born. A human must go through the cycle of birth, growing old, sickness and death. The outcome of this cycle is based on what we do in life. If we do good deeds, we will have a good result, and if we do bad deeds we will have a bad result. The result might not happen in this lifetime, it can happen in other future lives. So, a human being is continually reincarnated, living life after life. It never stops and is like running water, it never disappears, it just transforms into different things depending on the different circumstances.”

“If we can train ourselves to find balance, we can balance our Original Qi that we received from our parents, the Yin and the Yang, then we can reach another level. This training is Dao. When ordinary people die, they become ghosts. When a Daoist dies, he or she will become Shén Xiān, or they do not die, they change to another level.
