The thumb is the neck and the wrist is the base of the spine. If we find that our thumb is stiff or is a dark colour, then we have a problem with our spine.

Palm

Part 4

If we look that the palm and see the outside edge of the thumb, from the bottom corner of the nail to the wrist, this part of the palm relates to the spine. The thumb is the neck and the wrist is the base of the spine. If we find that our thumb is stiff or is a dark colour, then we have a problem with our spine. In this case we need to practise some Qigong that relates to our spine like Big Bear Stretches from Balancing Gong.

The thick fleshy area under the thumb relates to our heart. This area should be thick, bouncy and red in colour. If it is then your heart is in good condition. I have seen people with this area dark, and this means their heart has a problem, which means they could have heart disease and could potentially have a heart attack. They need to be careful and most people will go to see a doctor. If we practise Qigong, we can heal our heart with exercises like Balancing Gong’s Roc Extends its Wings or the Wild Goose First and Second 64 as it has many movements that are good for the lungs and the heart.
