If we have a problem in this area, we will see it become thinner, dark and dry. If this happens, we should be careful with what we are eating.

Palm

Part 5

The side of the palm under the small finger relates to the lungs. This area should be full, the flesh bouncy and red, as well. This means the lungs are healthy. Having healthy lungs is very important as our health is based on our breathing. We need to breathe all the time, we never stop. As soon as the lungs have a problem, it affects the breathing and then we will become weak. If our breathing stops, then we will die. So, it is very, very important. If we see that area of the palm go dark, or become too pale, then we know our lungs are not healthy and so we should practise some Qigong that is good for the heart, as the heart and lungs are in the same area of the chest.  The Wild Goose Qigong is the first choice, and also exercises like Roc Extends its Wings and even Horse Stance.

Under the area for the lungs, is the area that relates to the stomach, large intestine and small intestine, in fact the whole digestive system. Again this area should be thick, flesh full and bouncy and also a good red colour. If we have a problem in this area, we will see it become thinner, dark and dry. If this happens, we should be careful with what we are eating, and we should practise Qigong exercises like Catching Fish at the Bottom of the Lake from Healthy Living Gong Part 1, Wild Goose Qigong and Horse Stance.
