The second constellation is Guǐ 鬼, which means ghost. This is located at the top of the Red Pheonix’s head, at its eyebrows, and it has five stars. When people die, they can become ghosts and so this constellation means that people and even a lot of people can die! What can cause this to happen? If it is not because of natural causes, then it is because the society or the country has a problem. Perhaps many people are rebelling against its laws or there are a lot of criminals breaking the law. In the past rebels and criminals were captured and executed and this creates many ghosts. If these five stars shine brightly, then it means that the country is in good order and so there are not too many crimes being committed. In the past, China had very strict laws and punishments. In Western Astrology, Guǐ belongs Cancer.

The next constellation is Liǔ 柳, and this means willow, like a willow tree. When we see a willow tree, it means the environment is nice and people will gather there, enjoy themselves and have a party, and also have food. So Liǔ means eating and it has eight stars. In Western Astrology, it belongs to Hydra. If its eight stars shine brightly, then the people will have a lot of food, and the society will be in good condition.
