Sky-Eye Gong Pt3

The movements in Sky Eye Gong are quite strong, gathering energy from heaven and earth, and from the body by stimulating the lungs, and then transmitting it to the points and meridians around the head, and also some movements to release energy, to open the Sky Eye
It was a very interesting Sky Eye Gong seminar this morning. The lecture was an in depth explanation of the difference between touching the acupuncture points and connecting to the points, meridians or the organs without your hands touching the body. Touching is more focused whereas not touching covers more area. Touching is more about one point whereas not touching can be to direct the Qi. When you touch the point it is better to know where the point is, then you will get more benefit. Holding your hand over the area is more about the area than the point, so it is easier to benefit if you don’t know where the points are. Either way, when you get it right it will feel good and the more you practise the more relaxed and open you will be. When you relax more your acupuncture points will open and your sensitivity will develop. As you develop your sensitivity you will feel the right position for your hand and you will find that not touching becomes stronger.
The movements in Sky Eye Gong are quite strong, gathering energy from heaven and earth, and from the body by stimulating the lungs, and then transmitting it to the points and meridians around the head, and also some movements to release energy, to open the Sky Eye. People in the seminar also asked lots of good questions and so cleared up lots of details to help get a deeper understanding of this fascinating form. As always, thank you Sifu for sharing this wonderful skill.

Thank you Sigong for a very interesting lecture, I always find questions about similarities and differences between movements or other aspects of Qigong very helpful. The new section in the Sky Eye Gong form feels amazing and I expect it will feel even better over time. Looking forward to the next seminar.
