Grandmaster Chén Xiǎo Wàng 陳小旺
Part 1
I had seen him the year before, and he had asked me to organise a seminar for him. At first, he thought about holding it in October 2024, but I said they was too short notice to organise it properly, also I had some family matter I need to take care of and did not know how that would work out, so I asked him to let me think about it. In the end it worked out the February 2025 was the best time. After about 40 minutes Sifu came out into the arrivals hall, and he had his 20-year-old son Philip with him. Sīfú looked really good for his 80 years of age, and he is proof that Taijiquan really helps you stay healthy and in good condition. It was good to see Sīfú, and he was happy to see us.
He stayed with me for the next few days, and that evening Darryl cooked dinner so we could spend more time with him and talk about the upcoming seminars and some personal things. He said he would like to do teach seminars for a few more years then retire.
