The Bā Jìn 八勁 – Eight Jìn are, Péng 掤, Lǚ 履, Jǐ 擠, Àn 按, Cǎi 採, Liè 裂, Zhǒu 肘, Kào 靠 and of these Péng and Lǚ are the most important.

Tàijíquán 太极拳 has Bā Jìn 八勁 – Eight Jìn (Energies). No matter what style, Chen陈, Yang 楊, Wu 吳, Wu 武 or Sun 孫, they all follow the principle of Tàijí 太极 – Yīn 陰 and Yáng 陽.
