White Crane Sword Pt 30

I usually talk about how many times i get hit with the tassell if i do not practice it enough, but to be honest we have all come through with a lot less beating and a better understanding of the form itself not not only works the body but the mind

A great start to the new year with the White Crane Sword or should i say a challenging Sword form which i and my brothers and sisters and seniors compare notes from the previous seminars and laugh and smile about it, I usually talk about how many times i get hit with the tassell if i do not practice it enough, but to be honest we have all come through with a lot less beating and a better understanding of the form itself not not only works the body but the mind, the tassell and sword reminds you of the correctness of posture of balance of coordination and also reminds us that if we do not practice we will go backwards actually it is almost in itself meditative and also internal and very focused and addictive, hold it to memory and go through small sequences of the form to get a rhythm a flow, Step by step one after the other complete each movement, be patient in learning, understand the twist and turns overcome the challenges no matter what the situation, keep trying, endure and learn with each other and point out our mistakes and laugh, the sword form, its a bit like life isn’t it?. Thank you Sigong for guiding our way through the difficulties we face not only through the sword but in life.

Great to see that last part again, I never realised it was a fan Liao and I was always unwinding it in front of me so that I could stab down rather than letting the sword come behind! I am sure corrections to my form will come thick and fast from this part onwards! Thanks Sigong!

The White Crane seminar today was great, particularly the new part, it was always not clear in my head how the Fan Niel went and the timing of it, so now can work on improving it! Thank you Sigong.

Exciting to start learning the next part of the form. I think the fan liao with cross step might be my new favourite move!
Thank you, Sigong.

So lovely to have just finished the first white crane sword seminar of 2025. I managed to tidy up some messy sections I had and am slowly getting to grips with the more recent and difficult sections. It was a positive start for me. Thank you Sigong, as always, for sharing this with us. Nicci

Getting back into White Crane was very nice and enjoyed going through it and polishing the movements. I feel now that I can better control the tassle and this helps a lot in remembering the form and doing it right. Thank you Sifu!
