White Crane Sword Pt 34

It's all in the detail from the step up to the stepping backward to dropping down low with a twist also the angle in which you move the sword and tassel definitely the most difficult weapon I have ever done and the most enjoyable

A fresh morning start today some rain in parts of the country some nice and clear and sunny, we are all still excited about attending this course, one is to go over the form from beginning and all the way through to where we are so far, I enjoy that because you might go through by yourself and think that you are missing something and in some cases you do and some cases you body has understood the flow of some of the movements and in other parts there is always the need for attention it’s all in the detail from the step up to the stepping backward to dropping down low with a twist also the angle in which you move the sword and tassel definitely the most difficult weapon I have ever done and the most enjoyable too because the way its taught by Sigong and also fun when you are in a group or partnered up with my brother or sister or my seniors you get great advice and guidance.

Sigong talked about it affects you mind and your body, I agree you are able to move with flexibility and dexterity and mentally you are focused on just one thing just because you want to get it right this is the plus side to repetition we go over sections again and again and are able to discuss each technique as we go through and its consistency, if we are unsure we clarify with our seniors or Sigong, I am gaining a skill of which i do not want to lose i would say that we all do,.
Thank you Sigong for adding us to the list of caretakers to keep this skill intact and thanks to my brothers sisters and seniors who have helped me along the way. I love this.

Fun to be learning White Crane Sword- hopefully I’ll be able to not poke a hole in the ceiling with the new bit! Thanks, Sigong and all! -Kay

That’s it! That’s as far as I know! Looking forward to a new part next time! In the meantime there is always more to pick up . Thanks Sigong for something really worth waiting for! Lee

Great morning practice – I feel ready for the rest of my day.
Thank you, Sigong.

With part 34 of White Crane today, it was the last movement of what I have learnt of the form before, exciting to get there and particularly polish the last sections! Now in unknown territory to learn the long remaining part … Thank you Sigong for getting us so far. Christine
