Grandmaster Tse’s Wing Chun Note 447

Unfortunately we had been informed that Sīfú Ip Chun 葉準師父 would not be attending the dinner. I could understand the reason for this, as although the typhoon had weakened, it was still not safe for someone of that age to go out for a party. We would all have been very upset if something had happened to him. So we were actually happy that he was safe and we would be able to see a video about his life at the party and see some recent footage of him. I had actually seen him year before in December, when I had come back to Hong Kong to renew my documents. Sīfú was in good condition healthy and strong. Even though he could not come the party which continued no matter what there were about 500 people from all over the world attending. It was good to meet up with everybody and talk to my Wing Chun brothers like, Ip Kwong Chiu 葉廣超，Ip Kwong Kit 葉廣傑, who were the hosts, and Raymond Lo 盧德安and Leung Chung Wai 梁忠威 who were helping out. There were some people who I did not know. I was on Kok Tak Yin’s 郭德賢 table, I also met Annie Leung 梁小玲 and her husband, and from the UK, Brian Desire and Sam Kwok. We all said “hello” and chatted.
