Part 2
On the 7 July, my Sīhīng 師兄 Ho Kai 何基 sent me a message and video showing Sīfú 師父 sitting and being very active, stretching his body and moving his head as well as talking to people! The message said he would be discharged the next day, on the 8 July. Due to my teaching, I could not leave straight away and would arrive in Hong Kong on the 11 July. But, it made me so happy to see Sīfú so much better and to know he would be able to go back to the nursing home. This also meant I could go to see him much easier and enjoy my time with him more. I was so worried about not seeing him and missing him and I worried I might not see him again!
Throughout our lives we need to make decisions. If there is any chance that we might miss that chance and regret it forever, then there is only one decision, we should do it. I could not miss seeing Sīfú otherwise I would regret and feel sorrow.
Although it was a long journey –Â a 12 hour flight, it was a good journey and I found a few good Chinese movies on the plane which I wanted to watch for sometime.
